Straight Single Bit Axe Handle 36in Hickory Fire Tempered. Made of red and white hickory that has been fire tempered. Will fit axe heads with a single bit eye. Standard eye measures 2-1/4″ x 3/4″. The cross section of this handle is a true oval for a comfortable grip. Double sanded for a smooth finish. Each handle comes with one poplar wood wedge and one steel wedge.

You can also let us make your own custom 36″ straight single bit handle. Choose your own eye size, grain, grade and finish in the options menu and have it made how you prefer. We offer the option to buy rough turned axe handles, for those who want to fully tune their handle.

When you choose a custom handle allow up to 2 weeks of additional time to prepare your order.
