Our 6″ tamper is made with a 1/4″ thick steel plate that is mig welded to 1/4″ thick reinforcement gussets. The handle is schedule 40 tube steel that will take a pounding without deformation. 44″ long steel handle. All the steel used is American made. USA made.
Great tool! Works well and just the right size, 6″ fit perfectly in the area I needed to tamp down the rocks. Seems to be made well and will last a long while. Being made in the USA made the purchase even easier. Thank you!
