Forged Fish Gig Head

Description

Spear your fish with our forged fish gig head. It is so tough that it will split rocks before it will bend or break! This gig head is specifically made for the clear and rocky streams of our beautiful Ozarks, but it is great for the ocean too. Regardless of where you use it, it will work.

The gig head is forged from one piece of solid steel. Forged steel is undeniably superior to laser cut steel fish spears. Tines are approximately 3/8″ thick just below the barbs and tapers to approximately 9/16″ thick. The head is 4″ wide and 6-1/4″ long. The shaft is 1/2″ thick and approximately 7-5/8″ long.

The forged gig head is then securely mig welded to a round socket that has a 1-1/4″ inner diameter. The socket is approximately 6″ long with a 1/8″ wall thickness.

The overall length is 20″.
