Our Shovel Handle Wood 48in is designed to fit open back style shovel heads. It is 1-1/2″ in diameter. This shovel handle has a 9 inch tapered chuck end with a shoulder. The end is bent to help during assembly on heads with curved socket. Double sanded to a smooth finish. It is fire tempered and lacquered to last a lifetime. It includes one rivet.
