Description
Our spike maul handle is made of hickory to AREMA size specifications. Designed as a quick replacement handle for railroad track gang use.
It has an oval eye that measures 1-5/16″ x 15/16″ at the end of the handle. The eye at the shoulder measures 1-3/8″ x 1″. The overall length is 36 inches.
We have precision lathe turned the body of this handle to an oval shaped. We then double sand them with progressively finer belts after that we lacquer them to a smooth finish. This spike maul handle has an orange textured safety grip that covers 18″ of the handle to prevent slippage.
Includes one poplar wood wedge and one steel wedge for assembly.

Way better than the other ones that have yellow safety grip. These are actually sanded and are very smooth.
