Our Splitting Maul with Fiberglass Handle 8 Lbs. has a forged sledge eye maul head.  Our wood splitting mauls are built for durability and efficiency. They have a narrower bit or cutting face than the heads sold at the big box stores.

It has a strong but lightweight 34″ fiberglass handle. This handle gives you a great grip and control while using it. The head is bonded to the fiberglass handle with specially designed striking tools epoxy.

The tool is about 34 inches long. It weighs 9.75 pounds, making it a good choice for splitting wood.

Assembled in the USA, with an American-made handle and imported head.
