Description

Our Splitting Maul with Steel Handle 11 Lbs. has a forged sledge eye head. It features a sledge hammer face for driving wedges. The 6 lb. splitting maul head has a narrow cheek compared to the ones at the box stores. The bit and cheek are wedge shaped, which requires less effort to bust blocks than a blunt maul. Handle pipe is heavy duty 1.25″ O.D. schedule 40 steel pipe that has been sleeved with a 12″ 3/4″ schedule 40 steel core securing a robust mig weld to the head.

These mauls are great for busting through ice on stock tanks and ponds.

Assembled in the USA with an American steel handle and imported head.
