Our Shovel Wood Handle Pony 54in Ash is designed as the perfect replacement for your old shovel head with a broken handle. Made to fit pony style and other solid shank shovel heads.

It offers you the length you need to dig out deep holes. A standard pony shovel handle is 44″ long. The extra 10″ of length is ideal for rice farmers standing on a rice levee that need the reach.

The Shovel Wood Handle Pony 54in Ash has a 1-1/2″ in diameter. It features a 6 1/2″ inch tapered chuck with no shoulder or kerf/split. The grip end has a spring neck for ergonomics  and flexibility.

Made of tight, straight grained white ash in the USA. This handle is fire tempered and lacquered to give you years of use.
