Description
Garden pick mattock handle is red and white hickory that has been fire tempered. It will fit 2-1/2 to 5 lbs. garden pick and cutter mattock heads. Also works for some double bit style axes with a larger eye. 36″ length. Double bit axe style eye measures approximately 2-1/2″ x 7/8″. The cross section of this handle is a true oval for increased ergonomics and grip.
You can also let us make your own custom 36″ garden mattock handle. Choose your own eye size, grain, grade and finish in the options menu and have it made how you prefer. We offer the option to buy rough turned axe handles, for those who want to fully tune their handle.
When you choose a custom handle allow up to 2 weeks of additional time to prepare your order.
Includes 1 poplar wedge and 1 steel wedge.
