Use our Heavy Duty Water Meter Key Slotted with Pentagon Lid Key to open water meter lids with a pentagon shaped worm lock. This key allows the user to open the lid, lock onto it and lift the lid off with a single motion.

This water meter wrench is designed for Ford Meter Box style water meters and others. The water meter key is made to lock onto the 7/8″ pentagon shaped nut. Inside the pentagon socket is a 9/16″ slot for shutting off the water main.

The socket is cast steel to prevent bending and slippage. The handle is heavy walled 7/8″ round steel tube instead of rebar like a standard curb key to apply more torque to stubborn mains. Made in the USA.
